Diving (just a small point to add)

For those who said that aiming to get a tan from a diving trip is stupid, wait for the photos to be posted or wait till you see me..... then we will know who is dumb!!!! WaHaHAhahaaaaa!!!!

Diving!!! (Pulau Dayang, 22nd Sep - 25th Sep)

Got back from my Open Water Diver Course yesterday evening and i must say i did not waste every single cents i paid for the trip!!

We set off on friday evening and i was a bit sian abt the trip as it was after a long school day. The travelling sucks big time as we went by bus at first and change to boat after that. We spent abt 4 freaking hours on EACH vehicle which summed up to about 8 hours of travelling time!!! Not to mention it was in the middle of the nite. However, the 4 of us on the same bus (Eug, Zx, Jeremy & myself) were able to talk cock all the way for the bus trip. For the boat trip, thanks to Perry, one of the instructors, we talked MORE cock!!!!

Most of the guys spent their first night sleeping, but i chose to stay up and talk cock (...again). Perry and Isaac were there to share some of their diving experience and the sight of the ocean in the morning is breath-taking. Then on, its dive, eat, sleep for two days. I did a total of 5 dives for this trip and everyone of them were a different experience for me. On Saturday, my group did 2 dives. The first dive, i was very fansinated by the world under water. Seasoned divers may not consider it a great site with lots of stuff but for my first dive, i was satisfied. fun tat it may be, diving is actually very tiring. By the second dive of the day, i was already shagged out. During the theory lessons they said that your brain cant work normally under water. Its was during my second dive tat i understand it. I was required to perform a skill. The initial part was ok, but for the return part, i signalled 'OK' to my buddy and the next thing i noe i was on the surface of the water. Couldn't decent after tat. My friend discribed to me how i dissappeared so fast later after the dive and its rather funny. Guess the lack of sleep sat in too.

On Sunday, our group did a total of 4 dives. However, the 4 slackers (Eug, Zx, Jer, Me) chose to skip it so that we can sleep more. Haha.... Regreted a little but i tink we need the sleep la (esp for me). The first dive of the day was good, nice swim underwater as we start to get the hang of diving. Feeding the fish, doing somersaults in water, everything was sooooo beautiful. On to the second dive. We went the deepest in this dive but all we saw was jelly fish. They are nice but getting stung by them is definitely not fun..... and i can tell you its not just one or two but a whole army down there!!! Last dive of the trip was the best dive. Saw a turtle swam past just in front of me was damn cool. The corals were also the best that i have seen for the whole trip.

The last nite was all about mingling will the other divers and telling each other stories about their own experience from the trip. Alcohol was a MUST. Then came Monday morning, and we were all packed up and ready to go home, which meant another 8+ hours of travelling which was a killer again.

All in all , its really a great trip. Starting to miss the trip already as i have to come back and face all the work i have in hand. I shall post the shit load of pics we took for the trip soon.

Relieved...

Results of voting were out last nite... after more than 3 long hours of wait that is....
So here you have it, i am elected!!! My vote was 30.1% of total eiligible voting residents in Hall 1 and i needed 30% to be elected. What a close shave man.... phew~~~ A great sigh of relief there.
Some of the other results were quite predictable but some were actually pretty close. There was also a couple of surprises (in my opinion).
Overall i am really glad that all the running thing have ended. Believe that this com can be a great one. Now all i can expect is for lots and lots of work to come pouring on me!

JiaYouzzz to myself!!!!
